The Fast Set Water Based LOW VOC Epoxy Primer is a two component water based epoxy coating that exhibits excellent characteristics that rival solvent based products. This product has a tack free time of about 3 hours and can support traffic in as little as 6-12 hours.
It has good chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, and substrate penetration to withstand most common cleaning chemicals, solvents, fluids and other debris that will get on your floor. It features and easy to clean surface using a mop or wet-vac. Color is only available in CLEAR and the clear is not suitable as a topcoat for colored epoxies. Only suitable as a topcoat as a concrete sealer
This product comes pre-packaged by weight. Kits should be mixed in their entirety. If partial kits are to be used, refer to the product TDS and instructions for proper mix ratios. You will be able to coat appx 250 sq/ft per gallon at 6 Mils thickness. This primer attached meets the low voc specifications required in states such as CA.
We suggest using this primer if you are looking for a multiple layer coated floor as this allows for additional coats of epoxy to grip to this primer providing a stronger bond.
