This high-performance primer is designed for wood surfaces such as decks, patios, balconies, and walkways, ensuring maximum adhesion for the Pro Renew Wood/Concrete Resurfacer.
How many coats of this primer do I need?
Only one coat is required to achieve a strong bond before applying the resurfacer.
How do I apply Pro Renew Wood/Concrete Primer?
Simply mix in the can, then roll it onto the wood surface using a standard 3/8″ nap roller. Allow it to dry to the touch before applying the resurfacer.
How much coverage does this primer provide?
1 gallon covers approximately 400-450 sq. ft. 5 gallons cover 2,000-2,250 sq. ft.
The Pro Renew Wood/Concrete Primer is a single coat, super thick wood surface primer. The primer is manufactured to provide a strengthened bond to your wooden deck, patio, walkway or any wood outdoor surface. Simply mix in a can and roll on like regular paint. Let the paint dry to the touch and then apply the Pro Renew Wood/Concrete Resurfacer. This product also comes in a smooth version that has less grit and friction. Please Note: We highly suggest using this product as a primer to the Pro Renew Wood/Concrete Resurfacer. You do not need to use this primer on concrete surfaces.
